A spokesperson for Royal Mail has advised caution for anyone who receives such an e-mail: &ldquo. Internet users are being warned to be vigilant after a Carlisle woman's computer contracted a virus when opening an email supposedly from Royal Mail. If the postman or woman is unable to deliver a parcel to a customer they will leave a card which explains how to arrange a redelivery or where to collect the item.
